The Hotel Boutique Sixtytwo Located on the renowned Paseo de Gracia in Barcelona, it has the virtue of combining the most current design with Catalan modernism. It is located in the vicinity of two internationally recognized icons of modernist architecture such as Casa Batlló and Casa Milà, also known as La Pedrera, both designed by the architect Antoni Gaudí.

The Hotel Sixtytwo has recently undertaken the redesign of its rooms and the first floor where the lounge is located. The new interior design was in charge of the designer Verónica Cruz, who has had the support and advice of the Marcasal team of professionals for the materialization of his creative proposal both in the rooms where the same style has been maintained, and in the bar on the first floor, in which they have been the walls with a black textile plisado that gives character to the space while conditioning acoustically, providing a more comforting sound atmosphere. Marcasal has made the sofas and puffs that are interspersed with the furniture.

Cruz's new creative proposal for the rooms has sought to create a relaxed, harmonious and comfortable environment. The textiles provided by Marcasal have helped create the sensations of "being at home", for which natural fabrics have been used, such as linen in curtains and excellent quality cotton in curtains and bedding.

A color combination was devised between the cushions, plaids and the armchairs. Materials have been used in chromatic palettes of lilac, bubblegum pink, turquoise and pistachio green that manage to surprise the guest due to their successful freshness and originality.

In the reception of the Hotel, the reception furniture has been covered with red leatherette and for the back wall a gray silk panel has been made integrated into the wall that adds elegance to the whole.

The façade of the building and its modernist interiors from 1897 are combined with details of the latest technology and furniture from design firms and renowned designers; Thus we find pieces by Philippe Starck, Moooi, Vitra, B&B that give life to the hall and lounge of the hotel.

Bubblegum pink cushions and linen curtains, to surprise the guest and make them feel “at home”.
